Living south of Dublin, Ireland, Mick, an expatriate, lives at Mrs. O'Malley’s Boarding House. He had left his home and family to start his life over, to attempt to find himself in his new adopted country and culture. At a chance meeting, he meets an American woman visiting Dublin whom he falls passionately in love. This begins a love story and an unfolding of all that Mick believed he had rebuilt.
